Johnson Health Tech Australia, home to Matrix, Vision and Horizon Fitness; some of the most respected brands in the fitness industry, have re-structured their business model due to recent developments and growth in the domestic fitness market.

The Home Use division is considered an integral part of the overall company’s core business, and the company is experiencing rapid growth and consumer demand for the Horizon, Tempo, Vision and Matrix brands. However, with this rapid growth, the company has experienced challenges of which have been shared by its retail partners in recent months.

“Our rapid increase in product movement volume has led to communication and availably-to-supply challenges for our customers, to which we understand the frustration and apologise to our partners for any inconvenience that we have caused.” said Michael Conlan, Managing Director for Johnson Health Tech. “While a corporate restructure will assist in resolving this issue, we can wholeheartedly assure our retail partners that our pillars of trust, confidence, responsiveness and experience still stand tall in support of the Johnson Health Tech Australia organisation.”

A revamp of the total sales structure is set to assist with better communication and speed-to-market of customer orders, beginning with the appointment of Garry Moon as National Product Manager. Garry, who joins JHTA with more than 30 years of proven fitness business experience, will provide product strategy expertise for our retail segments in Australia, as well as logistics support, product line optimization and brand marketing strategy.

Supporting Moon is a new Inside Sales team, complimenting the Outside Sales team and assisting in the supply chain process for retailers. Sales Support Manager Layne Quinn will oversee the inside sales process, accompanied by Nick Hadjistefanis and Rochelle Baker who have been appointed to coordinate the inside sales procedure for our retail partners as Inside Sales Representatives.

Recent nationwide growth has also seen Johnson Health Tech appoint agent partners for distribution across all of South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Blue SL will now be distributing JHTA domestic products in both SA and NT, while Fleet Fitness with distribute JHTA domestic products to WA retail partners. As Blue SL and Fleet Commercial are currently our commercial distributor as well as preferred service and maintenance provider for these states, the company feels it is a natural fit for them to be distributing Johnson Health Tech Australia’s domestic range also.
